The thing I am most pleased with in ‘Out of Period’ is ‘fersure-ly.’ I mean, it’s an obscure joke even for me, but to me and a bunch of other recreationists it’s pretty good. That’ll do.

Different camps, different LARPs running concurrently, it’s quite fascinating.

Oh, my, yes. Just one example: consider how we think of Vikings and Mongols today, compared to how people who had to live alongside them did. Now extrapolate. 🙂
Then there’s historical attitudes towards witchcraft.. and renfaire attitudes toward same.
It’s quite amusing, imagining how current reality will be recorded in the his’try books, and then strip-mined by … well, Olde American Faires seems a reasonable option.
