The ‘Baby Driver’ Honest Trailer.
The Threads-the-Trench The Last Jedi Honest Trailer.
The Thor: Ragnarok Honest Trailer.
This is one of Screen Junkies’ better ones.
The ‘2018 Oscars’ Honest Trailers.
Really, the only review that you will need. Or want, possibly.
The ‘Get Out’ Honest Trai… wait. Do I have to go watch it now?
Come, I will conceal nothing from you: I skipped it. Mostly because the trailers didn’t click for me, but apparently Get Out got an Oscar nomination this year and that almost never happens for horror flicks. Even horror flicks that are really social commentary — no, wait, all horror flicks are really social commentary. Unless they’re just gore-fests, of course.
And apparently this movie mocked — heavily — precisely the demographic that gets off on being mocked — heavily — by certain other demographics. So, I don’t know. Anybody here actually see it? Should I try to track it down?
The ‘It’ Honest Trailer.
It was a fan pick, which probably explains why – oh, here, watch it.
The ‘Return of the Jedi’ Honest Trailer.
I want to push back on this Honest Trailer a bit.
The ‘Stranger Things’ Honest TV Trailer.
This one has a bit of subtext. Or maybe just text. Or at least demonstrates just how fragile people seem to be feeling right now. Personally, I’ve found that decompression helps a good deal with that, but that’s just me.
The Spider-Man Homecoming Honest Trailer.
As somebody in comments noted — no, really: there’s a small but finite chance that a Youtube comment is not of the Devil — the Spider-Man: Homecoming Honest Trailer was almost certainly in the queue before Screen Junkies had to deal with the sexual harassment allegations. So I don’t know whether this is representative of their new style, or not. Heck, it may be a while before we get another one.
Still, it’s nice to have the series back.
