…Ah, Timmy.

In Nomine Revisited: Ogiel.
Another one of my favorite characters, although I totally derived him from a character in GURPS IOU. I just figured that you’d get Cro-Magnon angels, right? Made sense, really.
In Nomine Revisited: Sparky.
This is easily one of the top five favorite characters that I have ever written up. He’s almost perfectly versatile.

In Nomine Revisited: Samuel.
These are holding up rather well, given that I wrote some of them over a decade and a half ago.
In Nomine Revisited: Bronwen.
I swear to God: some day I’m going to make this character canonical.

In Nomine Revisited: Mr. Alpu & Mr. Beytu.
I am not feeling particularly creative this evening – beer and spicy ribs will do that to a man – so I have decided to pull a few files from the In Nomine days as part of something… that I’ve been thinking of doing for a while. I say no more on the subject, because I haven’t decided how to go about doing it yet. But I do want these particular files a little more accessible, ya.
In the Mail: The Collapse: The Accidental Opening of the Berlin Wall.
I saw The Collapse: The Accidental Opening of the Berlin Wall mentioned somewhere a few days back, and I realized: by God but I am ready to read a book on how the Wall fell. It’s been long enough that you can hope to get a reasonably objective view of what happened, but soon enough that enough of the people involved are likely still alive and able to answer questions. Although I suspect that many of them don’t know the answer, either.
Anyway, I’ll let you know how it goes.

PS: I actually wrote up something about this for In Nomine, once (hermann-google-docs). I changed around a bit or two, but it held up surprisingly well. Of course, I’m obviously biased about my own work. Continue reading In the Mail: The Collapse: The Accidental Opening of the Berlin Wall.
Marine Forces Celestial (MARFORCES) [In Nomine]
This blast from the past is from almost a decade ago: I wouldn’t put it back up, except that it is the USMC’s birthday and I was always fond of the writeup. Set in the In Nomine universe, in case you were wondering. Also, yes: blame the song. Continue reading Marine Forces Celestial (MARFORCES) [In Nomine]
Question about my old In Nomine stuff.
It looks like at this point that I’m going to have to go through the files one by one after all and download them manually: Stormloader is apparently bought out, they don’t answer emails, and the new owners don’t seem to realize that Stormloader is even one of their companies. Is there any actual interest in me posting/updating here some of these decade-old In Nomine materials? I loved and love the game, but very few of you have ever played it, methinks. I need to pull the files anyway, because I want to eventually get them on a working site, but that’s not the same as using up real estate here…
