It was going to be ‘Shine on you Crazy Diamond,’ but this is funnier.

Wish You Were Here, Pink Floyd
I don’t think I’ve ever heard this song during the day. It’s not that kind of song.
NEW PINK FLOYD STUDIO ALBUM COMING OUT THIS YEAR.
Stop the damn presses:
It’s been 20 years since the last Pink Floyd album came out, and now frontman Dave Gilmour is ready to knock the dust off and get the band rolling again. Gilmour’s wife, Polly Samson, announced via Twitter that Pink Floyd would be releasing a new album, ‘The Endless River,’ in October of this year.
I know nothing else of this (provided to us by Constant Reader Finrod). There is the possibility of disappointment; even crushing disappointment. But the news still ranks a Dude.
…Dude.
“Nobody Home.”

I have heard this song on more crappy stereo systems than I care to remember… no, that’s not true. I fondly remember them all.
Kinda “Money,” kind of not.
I noticed that AoSHQ has gotten itself an Amazon Associates store, so I thought that I should blatantly steal the idea and have one, too: and here it is. Note that I have a Friends of the Site tab (idea likewise blatantly stolen from AoSHQ): if you’re a regular reader/commenter and you’ve got a book that you’re selling via Amazon.com, by all means suck up for a link (I obviously need to put more stuff up on there). If I can figure out a way to get the MoeLane Amazon store to embed on a page here without it looking awful, I will do so.
Anyway, here’s some Pink Floyd.
“Nobody Home.”
Maybe the truest song on this album.
‘Mother.’
Remember when you thought that this album was the Most Significant Thing Ever?
Yeah. Suuuuuuure you didn’t.
