Elizabeth Warren disses Hillary Clinton.

Because she can, of course:

Hillary Clinton will be joined by 13 of the 14 Democratic women of the U.S. Senate at a fundraiser Monday night in Washington, D.C., an attempt by the front-runner’s campaign to flex its establishment muscle as the first caucuses and primaries draw closer.

But one Democratic leader is notably missing from the roster of women headlining the Women for Hillary endorsement event: Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

You can do that when your own party wants you to be the first female major-party Presidential candidate.  Even when you don’t quite have the nerve yourself to go for that particular brass ring.  Especially when you don’t quite have the nerve, I suppose.  What is Hillary gonna do, support the Republican candidate in Warren’s next election?

Looks like Hillary Clinton is buying Ted Strickland.

Personally, I’m not sure why. I mean.  Ted Strickland? What would you do with a Ted Strickland, once you have one?

Twenty-eight of Hillary Clinton’s top bundlers have donated to Ohio Democratic Senate candidate Ted Strickland, with only one of the donations coming from Ohio.

Since Strickland, a longtime Clinton ally, launched his Senate campaign in February, he has received nearly $60,000 in contributions from individuals listed on Hillary Clinton’s “Hillblazers” list, according to aWashington Free Beacon analysis of Federal Election Commission records.

As the WFB goes on to note, the best part of this story? Ted Strickland wants to run on a Hate The Rich People-style campaign.  Because they don’t have irony in Ohio, or something.

Ach, This Thing Of Ours!

Quote of the Day, @MasadaSays Made One Mistake Here edition.

A mild one, but a mistake nonetheless. Basically, LA comedy club Laugh Factory put up a video of standup comics telling jokes about Hillary Clinton, and the Clinton campaign promptly freaked:

[Laugh Factory owner Jamie] Masada told Judicial Watch that, as soon as the video [called “Hillary vs. The First Amendment”] got posted on the Laugh Factory website, he received a phone call from a “prominent” person inside Clinton’s campaign. “He said the video was disgusting and asked who put me up to this,” Masada said. The Clinton staffer, who Masada did not want to identify, also demanded to know the names and phone numbers of the comedians that appear in the video. Masada refused and hung up.

(Via TheLid, via Instapundit) Bolding mine.  Anyway: next time? Identify the staffer. Because you want to embarrass fools. It’s sometimes the only way to teach one.

PS: Hillary Clinton does not enjoy Barack Obama’s media immunity. And ain’t that a shame?

Hillary Clinton mega-donor indicted for scamming money from Deepwater Horizon spill.

Well now. Hillary Clinton really needs to give back that money. And I’m not just saying that because I’m cruel that way.

A major Hillary Clinton fundraiser has been indicted for false statements and identity theft related to the Deepwater Horizon litigation.

The San Antonio Express-News reported Wednesday that a federal grand jury in Mississippi has indicted Mikal Watts, a Texas attorney who has been accused of using false identities to inflate the number of clients he was representing in the class action lawsuit against BP.

So, what happens now?

At a guess?

  • On the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton’s team will now take this opportunity to smash Bernie Sanders in the mouth, then stab him in the kidneys once he’s on the ground. I speak metaphorically, although… well, that’s a libelous thought. At any rate: Sanders may now be safely disposed of.
  • On the Republican side? Any candidate who lets a day go by without taking a smack at Hillary Clinton is committing political malpractice. Pay attention to which candidates can segue into the New Order of Things, and which ones cannot. Seriously, we now have about seven months where we can grind the Democratic candidate down. It’d be a crime and a blunder not to take advantage of it.

One last note: if Hillary Clinton gets indicted, all bets are off. Yeah, I know. ‘If.’ But I still want to note that… just in case.

FOUR Democrats on Hillary Clinton’s supposed endorsement list now saying that they don’t endorse her.

Did nobody in the Clinton campaign think to check their endorsement list first?  Because this seems like a really dumb thing to get wrong. Like, a really, really dumb thing. Continue reading FOUR Democrats on Hillary Clinton’s supposed endorsement list now saying that they don’t endorse her.
