It seems odd that I can still watch all of the animated movies from my childhood, and my kids’ childhood, but I just can’t seem to get through new ones anymore.
The quality went .. *seriously* rotten .. for a while.

Prior to Pixar, animation in the U.S. was almost dead.. and Pixar have a tendency to get a bit .. preachy .. in spots.

If you tried watching anything from either the de period, or Pixar’s whinier offerings, then .. it’s not surprising.
