So. It’s going to be called GHOSTBUSTERS: AFTERLIFE?

Apparently:

A few weeks ago, we reported that the upcoming Ghostbusters sequel had its title released by Italian movie site BadTaste.It. While it was not confirmed by the studio at the time, it is now official, and the film is titled Ghostbusters: Afterlife. And not only do we have the title, but it’s been reported by joblo that we will see the film’s first trailer this week!

Rian Johnson probably won’t direct an episode of THE MANDALORIAN. For a while, at least.

I know that this might be a perverse disappointment for some people: they had issues with THE LAST JEDI*, and some are perhaps ready to renew their subscription.

20% off sale at @HPLHS.

A good deal. I finally went ahead and picked up The Colour Out Of Space Dark Adventure Radio Theater, which I’ve been meaning to get forever but I had all the other DARTs to get first. But I seemed to have run out of other DARTs to get first, which is worrisome. I kind of liked having the backlog there to chew through.

Anyway, 20% off is nice and there’s stuff in there worth getting.

Hollywood can’t figure out Superman, and it’s their own damned fault.

GeekTyrant gets it where apparently Hollywood doesn’t, or at least GT gets a lot of it and I’m not going to quibble on the rest*:

Superman is a genuinely good person and a beacon of hope who uses his power to help people and keep the world safe and he also holds others with power accountable for their actions. How can they not see the relevance of that!?

GODZILLA VS. KONG release delayed.

From March 2020 to November 2020. …Can’t say that I’m surprised, alas. I mean, *I* liked GODZILLA: KING OF THE MONSTERS. It gave me what I wanted: kaiju and the USAF throwing down in various configurations. Alas, and unaccountably (I, as always, blame Communists) it did not do well. BUT! They already had the next movie done. So GODZILLA VS. KONG has gotta get released sometime. Apparently, ‘sometime’ is ‘next November.’ Ach, well.

I still win.

OK, flying Stormtroopers are kind of cool.

That was a cool visual trick that they did to make me think for a moment that the cycles had been disabled somehow, only they weren’t. And, hey: flying Stormtroopers. How long ago should these have shown up in Star Wars, again?

PS: ALL vehicles in Star Wars are absurd. Search your feelings, you know it to be true.
