Well, that’s helpful. My kids are currently waiting patiently for GRAVITY FALLS again*; the news that we’ll be able to download the seasons and still be able to watch them even if they go off the Disney+ rotation is welcome. It all goes away if you stop subscribing, of course. Because the Mouse ain’t stupid.

Honest Trailers was very careful to distinguish between the two TOTAL RECALLs, here. Which is as how it should be. I didn’t even bother to see the remake, and apparently not many people rejected that life decision of mine.
Now I actually want to see this again. Huh. Go figure.

I know, I know. This is not a welcome cultural artifact, for many of you. But I still retain a stubborn liking for the films. It’ll all be moot in three months anyway, because then STAR WARS: THE RISE OF SKYWALKER will be out and the Empire will smoothly segue to churning out TV shows until the sun runs out of hydrogen to fuse into helium. And, truly: is that not amusing, in and of itself? I submit to you that it is.

You know, it takes a lot to kind of horrify GeekTyrant. I don’t mean that as a criticism of the site: I actually like how they’re so positively enthusiastic about geek-stuff, even when I don’t think that the stuff they’re being enthusiastic is worth it. But the Dickinson trailer made them blink, relatively speaking:
Wait, TV? You can say the f-word on network TV now? When did THAT happen?
Does involve Budapest; set between CIVIL WAR and INFINITY WAR; and will supposedly offer closure. Ehh, I don’t want “closure” in the BLACK WIDOW movie. I’m actually fine with how the character originally died: in the shadows, doing a very unpleasant job so that somebody else wouldn’t have to. Nah, what I want is a very kinetic action film where Black Widow can finally cut loose a little for more than a minute at a time.
