Superior Relics: Judgment
These two relics are considered by many to be symbolic of the larger struggle within Judgment; whether this is actually True, or just propaganda, is up to the individual campaign. Both relics are exceptionally old; they, in fact, date back to the First Rebellion. They are also both exclusively associated with Dominic’s female persona Dominique. Finally found it! Super-genius me finally realized that, if I sent it in to the In Nomine list at some point, there would be an email of me sending it in. And lo! There was.
The Drum
This artifact is an extremely primitive drum apparently made out of wood, goatskin and animal sinew: one of the minor mysteries about it is why it still exists, as it seems to have been in use for at least two thousand years. In case you’re wondering, one of the reasons why I’m pulling some of these things out of storage and cleaning them up a bit is because next year I’ll be starting up the process of creating my own gaming supplements. Which means I need to teach myself at least the basics of self-publishing and layout, because I can’t afford to pay for it and I don’t want to depend on volunteer work (assuming I got volunteers). Anyway, I figure that if I have to learn by doing, I might as well make some free supplements in the process; goodness knows I have a lot of creative work out there that I absolutely cannot sell. It seems more efficient this way, as long as I follow, say, SJG’s Online Policy. So I’m pulling files. Mostly In Nomine ones, because I wouldn’t mind sparking a little interest in the game line.
Anyway, back to blasting the pasting:
…I did a while back; but it maybe never made it to my old website (which is still dead). It was about a certain drum that happened to be at a certain place during a certain birth… and yes, it was a mighty In Nomine relic indeed. Unfortunately, the details seem to be lost. Alas.

For those who might find this of interest: I have playtest credit on a bunch of these, was the Lead Playtester for the Ethereal Player’s Guide, and have an additional Materials credit in Liber Umbrarum. …Hey, literary immortality is where you find it. Anyway, check it out.
This one really needs GURPS IOU (GURPS In Nomine, too) to make any sense. Then again, if you don’t have GURPS IOU already then you should get it. I mean, geez: Phil Foglio did the artwork! What do you want, a sign from the heavens?
