Kickstarter reward received!
The latest installment in my favorite alt-Victorian fantasy webcomic. Yes, it’s a genre: Widdershins is easily the best I’ve read. Easily good enough that I won’t even mind linking to the store, despite the distinct lack of affiliate income…
Widdershins is a fun webcomic, and I’m more than happy to give Kate money for her books. The WITCH HUNT Kickstarter is also timed to start just as the Witch Hunt storyline finishes up, which is likewise cool. In that just generally cool way: I don’t think there’s any hidden meaning to that.
Does ANYBODY KNOW why these movies aren’t available on DVD? They put everything on DVD these days. Is there a lawsuit, an estate problem, a vendetta involving the Bavarian Illuminati and the Priory of Sion? What, in point of fact, gives?

PS: Background here. Basically, Cast a Deadly Spell and Witch Hunt are two HBO pictures that mashed up noir and Call of Cthulhu, and did a damned better job at them than anybody’s reasonable expectations. I want to own these films. I don’t have a VHS player anymore. That doing the first would involve changing the second annoys me.
I wish to give the people who own these properties money for a DVD copy.

I still stand by that statement.
