They’ve optioned The Laundry Files.

This is very interesting. Also, cool. Lemme make that clear.

Bundle of Holding: The Laundry, redux.

Reader of mine passed this along: Bundle of Holding is doing the Laundry RPG offer, again. This is the “British civil service dealing with the Mythos” RPG that’s based off of Charlie Stross’s horror/fantasy series; and the only reason why I haven’t gotten it is because these days I order the physical books directly from the publisher.  But the game looks very good and it certainly reads as very funny, so check it out.

I just did the most glorious thing in the world.

I just deleted thirty, forty saved pages!  I don’t need them any more! As of tomorrow, they’re officially irrelevant!  FREEEEEDOMMMMMMM!

Sorry about that.

So, anyway… well.  That was it.  Well, that and “I just bought another gaming supplement*!” – which, as God is my witness, I thought would be more interesting to mention than it turned out to be.

Moe Lane

*Cubicle 7’s The Mythos Dossiers, for their occult horror bureaucratic RPG The Laundry, assuming that anybody’s still reading.  Can you tell that I’m a little loopy, right now?  And that’s not even the booze talking, because I haven’t had any.  Forcing my head out of the channel that it’s been in for the last four years is not as easy as it looks.

Just got my copy of the Laundry RPG…

…it’s very nifty. For those wondering: The Laundry is a roleplaying game based on the Laundry Files series by Charles Stross, which is itself a horror/espionage series about computational power meets the Great Old Ones. Nice layout, decent writing, and the game is more or less mechanics-compatible with both Call of Cthulhu and Delta Green.

Good times, good times.
