Although… don’t we have something like what’s going on in ‘Practical Physics’? That entire situation where quantum mechanics and general relativity are inconsistent with each other in some places, but you can use either theory to do things. Or something like that. I just write books.

I’m going to use the idea in ‘Contents May Vary’ at some point. It might not even be for a horror project, either. There’s nothing really awful about the concept, after all. If the soul-substitute is benign, why not have the end result be, too?

I figure the guys in ‘Patience in the Dark’ are actually not too bad when it comes to getting disease cures, if not fertility treatments. Blighting the existence of viruses and bacteria, before they can accomplish their personal goals (such as they are)? That’s actually kind of soothing to the Brotherhood. Plus, it helps keep the authorities off their collective backs.

I know the premise of ‘Went Native’ kind of sucks, but… whaddya gonna do? It happened. Strictly speaking, it’s no living human’s fault that it happened. Life isn’t always tidy, or fair.
