Just caught the first TALES FROM THE LOOP.
Started a little slow, but this TALES FROM THE LOOP show on Amazon Prime ended pretty good. It’s based on those pictures that made the rounds a while back (that later got turned into a TT RPG), and the focus on the first episode was definitely on the kid. It was all very pleasantly subversive, too. I was amused.

It’s a fun concept, and a fun RPG, and in April TALES FROM THE LOOP will hopefully be a fun series. I’m looking forward to it. And it’s nice that they’re doing stuff like this, too.
In the Mail: Things From the Flood.
Things From the Flood is an RPG that’s more or less a sequel to the Tales from the Loop RPG. Looks nifty.
The Coriolis/Tales From The Loop Bundle of Holding.
Can’t speak to Coriolis, but Tales From The Loop is rather good. It’s a kid-based RPG in a 1980s world where strange things happen, nobody ever believes the kids, and it’s up to them to solve the mysteries. It’s not exactly Stranger Things (aside from everything else, the game defaults to being set in Sweden); more like it and Stranger Things were next to each other when they drew from the same well.
Definitely worth checking out, in other words. …I think I’m running it next WashingCon, in fact. Should be a hoot.
