Even though I could never finish the last boss battle. Maybe if I started over, and learned how to fight properly in Arkham City? It’s a thought…

I suspect Bioware itself of originating the Mass Effect Andromeda DLC rumors.
Seems easy enough: first, set up a rumor from a shop purporting to be doing Mass Effect Andromeda DLC that there actually won’t be any story-based DLC (which everybody is largely assuming to be true, so why is it a rumor). Then, let the rumor spread. Finally, put out a response saying:
While we can't talk about future yet, I can def say we build our own dlc/patches for our games and don't hire fake companies to do so.

Boom! Instant buzz. Or not. I don’t care: if reporting this gets interest up in ME:A DLC, now that they’ve patched the animation bugs and everything, I will happily report away. I want to know what happened with the quarian Ark, dagnabbit.
In the mail: my Conan Exiles T-Shirt!
Secret World Legends is up! …IF you already had an account.
Those of us from the old days have a weekend to kick all the tires and whatnot before Secret World Legends launches for everybody else Monday (or maybe it’s open for all now?). I spent a couple of hours getting through the tutorials and whatnot. The combat does seem to be a bit different, and the skill system definitely is. On the plus side, the graphics are better, there are people around again, and we’re back to having a bunch of different currencies to manipulate for various benefits. And yes, I absolutely missed the currency manipulation. I’m weird like that.
One thing, though: if you were previously a The Secret World member, log into SWL with your TSW account and password so that you can port over all your old vanity stuff. Like your motorcycles and whatnot. The in-game cash apparently ain’t coming over, though – more’s the pity.
Now, if you’ll excuse me: I need to see a person about a cabal. Surely the League of Monster Slayers is back online…
Tweet of the Day, Or Else One Guy Doing A 1-3-2-4 Pee Sequence edition.
On a timer, because why not? But, yeah. This looks conceptually familiar.

Hey, do you want to play some classic Sega Genesis games on your devices?
(Via Fark Geek) I suspect that this might get some people’s attention.
Sega is launching a new mobile gaming initiative called Sega Forever, the long-lived publisher announced today. Under that banner, the company plans to bring loads of games from all eras of its 30-year history to Android and iOS devices as free-to-play apps. While all the games will share some universal trappings, they will be distinct releases rather than multiple parts of a larger Sega Forever app.

I admit, Detroit: Become Human is slightly tempting.
As in, I’m almost tempted to get a PS4 so that I can play it.
I mean, sure, the plot is going to be regurgitated half-ass political jackwagonry, but the visuals look nice and I can groove to having a lot of branch points for a game like this. Alas, Detroit: Become Human is specific to the PS4, which makes it, ah, problematic. It’s not even that I wouldn’t be able to afford to get a PS4: I’m sure that if I could, if I wanted to spend none of my discretionary cash for about half a year. It’s that I have no useful place to put one.
Still. Pretty game.
In the Steam Queue: Wolfenstein: The New Order.
Wolfenstein: The New Order just hit weekend Steam sale for ten bucks (alternatively, if you don’t have Steam Amazon is offering a physical copy for fifteen). I don’t know if it’s going to go down even further later this summer to seven or so, but honestly fifty percent off is good enough. I probably would have picked it up at twenty except that I was reminded, gently, of the tradition of the Summer Steam Sale. It was worth waiting a week or so, really.
I assume that I should not play this around my children?
