Book of the Week: As You Wish.
Full title: As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride, written by Cary Elwes (and Joe Layden). If you are looking for dirt on the people who made The Princess Bride, this is not the book for you to read. If you want to read some fun stories about that movie production, then look no further.

I’ve wanted to come back to this one for quite some time.
The Call of Cthulhu Classic Kickstarter.
Specifically, the forty year anniversary reprinting of the original boxed edition of the Call Of Cthulhu RPG. This is old-school stuff, friends: Chaosium scanned near-mint versions of the originals, cleaned them up, added little extras, and now here it is. “Pickman’s Model: A Romance is currently #31 in 30-Minute Science Fiction & Fantasy Short Reads!
I have no idea if that’s meaningful, but it’s not horrible, right? Hey, it would be awesome if it hit #1, though…
Pickman’s Model: A Romance: “Richard Pickman is a Bostonian artist of the grotesque, seemingly incapable of making the simplest of human connections. But can he make one with Abigail Peters?”
BEHOLD! The MORGAN BAROD cover.
I am well-pleased with it.
Artwork’s from a buddy of mine in the SCA, and I think it came out right nice. MORGAN BAROD is still on schedule for coming out this summer, by the way. Keep watching the skies!
The KING IN YELLOW RPG Bundle of Holding.
Having backed the KING IN YELLOW RPG Kickstarter I can tell you that the stuff that they’re offering in the Bundle of Holding‘s worth it. Particularly Robin Laws’ THE MISSING AND THE LOST: it’s just a good book in its own right. He should be selling it more widely — in fact, why am I not telling him that?
