Movie of the Week: Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Why? Because I want to push back a little. I had a good time at Age of Ultron. Yeah, yeah, it’s not the best MCU movie, but watching the Avengers go around and group content their way through dungeons was fun. Everybody likes the individual-hero movies better, sure, but I’m down with the ensemble flicks, too.

The new animated show will be overseen by Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios, but the stories will not be canon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

March 20, 2019. That’s the day Disney takes possession of Fox. Which means that there’s still a faint, hopeless chance that they will go with my idea for the last Avengers: Endgame Easter egg:
In which I underestimated a MCU movie’s opening weekend. Again.
I said $100-120 million domestic for Captain Marvel: it grossed $154 million domestic, and if it doesn’t beat my $600-800 million total prediction at this point I’d be shocked. That would require, say, everybody who wanted to go see the movie already seeing it last weekend, and that’s even more absurd than apparently my previous guess was. Certainly it’s no longer safe to bet that the movie won’t hit a billion.
