So, all the ways to help me out.

Self-serving, hey? …Well, nobody’s giving me free advertising so that how it works. The good news is, all of these things are either no cost to you, or they’re value-for-money. I don’t object to just being given cash, but I think it’s better when it’s a trade. After all, we are not Communists.

So!

  • Patreon! Signing up gets you fiction and gaming stuff every week and month. We’re pretty close to a milestone, too.
  • Amazon author page! Buy my books! Give my books as gifts!
  • Smashwords! For people who don’t like Amazon.
  • Mailing list! As God is my witness, I will be doing more with the mailing list, starting in January. As in, I will actually use it.
  • Current book preorder! This is where the signed copies can be found.
  • Goodreads! This is an excellent place to review my books. Just saying, that’s all.

I figure that should do for a start. Posting may be sparse tomorrow, by the way. If I don’t say it before then: Happy New Year!

Today was a Smashwords sort of day.

I’ve been working on the Smashwords stuff today: updating my profile, self-creating an interview, and reading a book on the subject. Well, all right, I started reading the book first. That’s why I updated my profile and created the interview. It’s like everything else in the world, really. The work’s gotta get done, and if you don’t do the work, nobody’s going to swoop in and do it for you.

You can find the Smashwords version of FROZEN DREAMS here. The next book will go up more easily, I think. I’m already noting where I made mistakes the last time.

Just got the pencil sketch in for the FERMI RESOLUTION RPG worldbook cover.

There’s one minor tweak that I need have done, but otherwise it’s gonna pop, I think. Ben Fleuter does good work. Can’t wait to tease it out to folks.

Ach, what a weirdly productive month it’s been. I’m getting to the point where I need to start thinking about all the other stuff I’ve been — well, not neglecting. Money was paid for these projects; people need to get their money’s worth. But I got a manuscript that needs a second pass-through, then an alpha reader handout. And soon it will be November, and time to write another book. Busy, busy, busy…

Book of the Week: Frozen Dreams.

Frozen Dreams is Moe Lane’s first book, and some of you might find it to be of at least slight interest. It’s described as a “post-apocalyptic high urban fantasy detective novel,” which is admittedly somewhat ambitious of the man. Check it out! Pre-order now, but it comes out on Kindle Monday. and print via KDP soon after.

Patreon Microfiction: “Mephitis Vice.”

As I said at the time: there’s a book in “Mephitis Vice,” but somebody else can write it.  Somebody else who is not me, because I just don’t know if I can do the source material properly.  Basically, I’m afraid that if I’m the one who tries to write it, the book will just end up stinking.
